Business Dinner Etiquette
A successful business meal requires close attention to proper business dining etiquette (этикет делового ужина). Manners and conduct are equally important in creating an impression that may affect future attempts at building a long-lasting professional relationship.
Business Discussion
In most cases, you should expect light conversation before and during the meal, with the meat (суть, основное содержание) of the business discussion coming at the end of the meal, over coffee and dessert. There may even be a presentation at the end. However, you should again plan to follow the lead of those around you and contribute (участвовать, подключаться) to the discussion whenever it happens. Don’t speak when your mouth is full of food. Take small bites during the meal so you may contribute to the conversation more easily.
