How far will you go to please a famously cat-obsessed professor?
One university student in the Russian city of Yekaterinburg came to class in a Garfield costume – and got a massive payoff (вознаграждение) for what could have gotten him kicked out elsewhere.
“A lifetime of passing grades!” the professor, Nadezhda Solopova of the Ural State University of Architecture and Art, is heard as saying in a video that surfaced on Thursday.
Solopova’s love for cats is so well-known that it earned her a dedicated (посвящённая) page on Russian social media – where the Garfield costume video first appeared (появился) last year. According to photographs from the page posted by the E1.ru website, students regularly attend classes wearing cat ears or even bring live cats to lectures.
