A collection of 16-17th century tapestries from the State Hermitage Museum
This exhibition presents many never-before-exhibited articles of embroidery (вышивка), tapestry (гобелен), and majolica (майолика, вид керамики) depicting historical events, as well as biblical, pastoral (пасторальный, сельский, на лоне природы), and allegorical scenes, on loan from the private collection of Inna Bazhenova and the State Hermitage Museum. The event includes a series of lectures on 16th to 18th century tapestry of Europe.
