Why wait for snow, if you love skiing?
There’s no snow in the streets this winter, but there’s always a pretty good venue in Moscow for year round skiing. It has a beginner rope lift (подъемный трос), towing lift (бугельный подъемник) and chair lift (кресельный подъемник). And they have a small free style area. You can just go for a couple of runs but there are also ski competition teams and a wide variety of (private) instructors.
Snejkom has a decent rental office where you can rent all gear (снаряжение) and clothes. And their “Austrian hut” style restaurant is not bad for a pizza afterwards! So, why wait for winter holidays, if you love skiing?
