Moscow Sizzles in Record Temperatures

With temperatures in Moscow reaching record highs this week, Muscovites went outside to beat the heat. Sweltering summer temperatures came to Moscow this week, with the thermometer reaching a record high of 30 degrees Celsius. Muscovites flocked (скапливаться) to the city’s parks and fountains in search of any respite (передышка) they could find.
