Exhibition until November 24
The Time and Space (Время и космос) exhibition has been unveiled (открылась) at the Space Pavilion as part of the VDNH Anniversary programme. 120 unique exhibits coming from the Polytechnic Museum, the Moscow Museum of Cosmonautics and private collections will tell about time and its measuring instruments as well as show timepieces (хронометры, небольшие часы) that belonged to space explorers.
A rare opportunity to see a watch that once belonged to Yuri Gagarin, or cosmonaut Fyodor Yurchikhin’s chronometer that he wore on the sleeve of his spacesuit during spacewalk activities, a folding equatorial sundial (солнечные часы), a Manual of Clocks from All Over the World, and other unique exhibits showcasing the evolution of time measurement machines.
