‘Museum of Moscow. Starting Point’ at the Museum of Moscow

The Museum of Moscow opens a new free permanent exhibition about its history and today’s activities. You will view gems (жемчужины, лучшие экспонаты) of the Museum’s holdings (фонды музея): a shaving kit of an officer of Napoleon’s Army, a mug from Royal gifts of Nicholas II, distribution of which led to the tragedy on Khodynkoye Pole, engineer Vasily Shukhov’s compasses. The main part will remain the same, but each month one of its sections, exhibition of the month, is to be updated. September’s theme is the Moscow (Moskva) toponym and same-name objects: hotel, perfume, car and receiver.
