This summer boutique (элитный) festival Chess & Jazz returns to Moscow Hermitage Garden on July 26-27 featuring performances from two-time Grammy award winner Gregory Porter and the Manchester trio, GoGo Penguin.
Chess grandmasters are flying in to inspire rookies (начинающие игроки) and give lessons across the sessions of the festival’s “How To Chess Well” school. Guests can sign up for the tournament and a range of master classes online and at the festival. Chess & Jazz partners will aim to impress visitors with unusual interpretations of jazz. With music and chess always at the centre of the festival, the Chess & Jazz programme also includes a variety of panel sessions (встреча специалистов) and public talks around sports, science, art and business.
