This month, the Irish Film Festival brings some of the best cinema from Ireland to Karo 11 Oktyabr Cinema.
With St. Patrick’s Day just around the corner (March 17), there’s no better way to celebrate Irish culture than by checking out Moscow’s own Irish Film Festival.
The festival will showcase (показывать) a selection of the best new Irish feature films, short films, documentaries and animated films. It’s just one part of Moscow’s Irish Week, which comprises a variety (многосторонность) of events ranging from concerts, performances of traditional Irish dance, lectures and the infamous St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
The 12th annual Irish Film Festival runs through (проходить по) March 24. Full details of screenings can be found on the official website of Irish Week. The film festival will open on March 13 with the Russian premiere of “Black 47,” a blockbuster thriller about an Irish soldier.
