Some time, Sometime, Sometimes
The words sometime, some time, and sometimes are obviously related in meaning, but they are used in different ways.
Definitions
The expression some time (two words) means “a period of time.”
Example: I was waiting in the queue for some time.- Некоторое время я ждал в очереди.
The adverb sometime (one word) means “at an indefinite or unstated time in the future”. As an adjective, sometime means “occasional or former”.
Example: We can definitely go over that sometime.- Мы определенно можем обсудить это когда-нибудь.
The adverb sometimes (one word) means “occasionally, now and then.”
Example: Sometimes I get really worried for no apparent reason.- Иногда я сильно беспокоюсь без какой-либо видимой причины.
