The remote Arctic village of Chikinskaya has been catapulted into the pages of Vogue Italia after providing the latest exotic location for the magazine’s high-style photo shoots.
Shot by British photographer Johnny Dufort and starring (в главной роли) Turkish model Günce Gözütok, the photos are set to feature in the September issue (выпуск) of the iconic fashion mag.
Russian stylist Lotta Volkova was also on hand (присутствовала рядом) during the shoot, transforming models with her signature painted faces and fake moustaches.
With its rustic churches and untouched (нетронутые) landscapes, Chikinskaya is seven hours drive from the regional capital of Arkhangelsk, and 1,500 km from Moscow.
